I am half tempted to do a “podcast about podcasting.” However, there are two main reasons I don’t.
A. I am doing so many bloody podcasts that my family will disown me if I start another.
B. These veteran podcasters (and others not listed) have done a fantastic job for years without my help. Here are some of the best in alphabetical order:
AUDACITY TO PODCAST – Daniel J. Lewis gets technical to our delight in this “how-to” podcast. Check it out at theaudacitytopodcast.com
THE CLIFF RAVENSCRAFT SHOW – Cliff has broadened this show quite a bit since the “Podcast Answer Man” days but certainly it is still worth listening to the man who morphed himself from an insurance agent into the most successful podcast consultant in the industry. You can find his show at PodcastAnswerMan.com
THE FEED – This is the podcast from what I consider to be the greatest podcast hosting company in the world, Libsyn. Rob Walch and Elsie Escobar give the inside scoop on the podcasting industry and share the ins and outs of the ever-expanding Libsyn ecosystem. A must listen if you want to know the score of what is going on in podcasting. Rob plays the lovable curmudgeon and Elsie, the savvy veteran podcaster, but both do a great job. Check it out at thefeed.libsyn.com
PODCASTERS’ ROUNDTABLE – Ray Ortega leads a roundtable including Daniel J. Lewis and Dave Jackson and rotating guest podcasters. I have one gripe with Ortega. He needs to do more shows, he is just that damned good. Put this one on your list, for sure, go to PodcastersRoundtable.com
SCHOOL OF PODCASTING – Fellow Ohioan and award-winning podcaster Dave Jackson has carved out a successful niche as a speaker and podcasting consultant. I enjoy Dave’s friendly style and respect his knowledge. Check out his podcast at SchoolOfPodcasting.com
